I’ve had severe allergic reactions to bee stings—so when I heard fake dragonflies might ward them off, I ordered six off Amazon. They’re going up on my sailboat as a kind of quirky defense system. After spending time ashore with family and friends it is time to get back to our life on the water! We are always a bit anxious when returning to Frolic as we never know if she will be as we left her. After seeing what happened in our absence we launch into a frenzy of cleaning, provisioning and repairing to get ready for a new winter season sailing in warm southern waters.
