This course taught me all I needed to know to be safe and bring the boat back home safely well worth it and it's an enjoyable but tense course. I now know what my boat requires so on we pop and get the refurb underway once complete I will be sailing from pwheli to and through the menia straight over to conwy marina and onto its berth ready for the summer. the plan is to get some practice for a year with this 1 get all my qualifications then offer sail boat trips around the UK..

No more propane on our boat! All electric baby! With 920 Watts of solar installed, we decided to gut the old propane stove and rebuild it with an electric induction cooktop. It was actually easier than we thought, and involved drilling out a few rivets and repurposing some parts. The result ended up looking pretty great, and we even have a shelf in the middle for storing pots and pans. Unfortunately, only a single burner induction cooktop would fit, so we'll have to make do. We moved the microwave to the bottom of the stove, which frees up some much needed counter space. We purchased a small countertop convection toaster oven so we can still toast and bake things, if needed. Have you ever thought about doing this?
