As a sailor, I could Sail Greece forever. Today let's explore my favourite place: Symi Island is part of the Dodecanese Islands, just north of Rhodes. The main port of Symi is a popular destination for sailors. The harbour is well-protected, and there are plenty of docking options available. Plenty of local tavernas serve fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. Symi Island is also known for its incredible hiking trails, where you can explore its rugged landscape and stunning views. And for history buffs, Symi Island is home to the Panormitis Monastery, a stunning Byzantine monument still in use today.
