Estamos en La Comuna 13 de Medellín, conocida como la Cuna de Pablo Escobar, donde tiempo atrás fue un epicentro de violencia, casas precarias construidas en medio de las colinas, calles estrechas y empinadas, que generaban múltiples callejones y miradores, ideales para delincuentes y el comercio de droga. Allí ocurrieron dos de las operaciones militares más sangrientas y recordadas de la ciudad, la operación Mariscal y Orión, donde se recuerdan a través de sus grafitis. Competent Crew Course details: ➜ https://www.firstclasssailing.com/rya-courses/competent-crew In this short lesson clip, you see us sailing to windward and tacking our way upwind. You cannot sail a boat directly into the wind. The closest you can sail to the wind is roughly 45 degrees (depending on the boat) either side of the wind. If you want to go somewhere that is upwind you have to tack your way to your destination. Tacking is where you put the bow of the boat through the wind and the sails change sides.
