Day 5 offshore sailing from Chile to Panama ⛵️ When we are on long passages one of the most important jobs is to check all lines, blocks, sails ect. for wear and tear. Being used non stop for days will inevitably cause damage. We have been struggling to sort out the battery power for the electric motor as part of our fully electric boat refit. Except for diesel heating for a British winter, we are going to be Fossil Fuel free. These Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries from Fogstar are the game changer for us.
