We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Happy 1st of December! 🌟 We’re kicking off our Christmas calendar with a tour of the salon, the heart of our boat, Vela. ❤️ This space is so much more than just a room: ➡️ On the port side, our cozy settee transforms into a dining room, office, or even a nap spot during passages. 🛋️💤 ➡️ On the starboard side, we have two lounge chairs with a hidden drinks locker in the middle—perfect for those sailing sundowners. 🍹 ➡️ The salon also holds tons of storage, but we’ll dive into that in a later episode! 🚪 It’s the first room you step into when you come aboard, and it’s where we live, work, eat, relax, and more.
