Pour battre le record, détenu depuis le 25 décembre 2016 par Thomas Coville en 49 jours 3 heures 4 minutes et 28 secondes, François Gabart devra couper la ligne d’arrivée avant le 23 décembre à 13h09 (heure française) sur son trimaran MACIF. En plus de travailler sans relâche pour faire avancer son trimaran de 30 mètres le plus rapidement possible, il devra donc bénéficier d’un enchaînement de conditions météo favorables. Superyacht Cup Palma is delighted to announce that the J Class will be joining the fun at Europe’s longest running superyacht regatta in 2022. To accommodate the J Class, and after consultation with SYC’s race management partner the Real Club Náutico de Palma and a number of superyachts who had expressed an early interest in attending, the 2022 regatta will now be run from June 29 to July 2, a small move of a week from the earlier June 22-25 dates.
