The 27th Annual Dana West Yacht Club Charity Regatta, off the coast of Dana Point in Southern California had 21 boats competing. Sometimes boats try to occupy the same space on the water and that's when collisions occur. During this race, two Catalina 385's, Marblehead and Tomol, tried to do just that and crashed into each other. Who is at fault and how could this collision have been avoided? It's Day 2. Lots of boat movement through the night with the front of the fleet rounding Olympia Shoal and a major leader board shake up with Team JED Racing and Team Narwhal appearing to drop the dinner hook atop Anderson Island. The middle of the fleet now nears Olympia while the back half starts their day after an evening on Blake Island.
