I discovered a very old orchard growing wild in the woods near the sailboat. So many varieties of fruits and berries. So, I snagged a pair of pears and turned them into a Whiskey Pear Sauce for the the pancakes! This will be the first cooking segment for the channel! Stay tuned for new episodes coming up shortly. I haven’t been able to afford a new laptop to edit videos on the boat. We are headed back to Alberta on Sunday so I’ll get some videos uploaded soon. I am living my dream, on a sailboat on the Pacific Coast. One nigh on the dock of the marina with a powerful light and a small net, exploring the flora and fauna of the Pacific. Learning to identify species and their food value. This is a Kelp Crab. Supposedly good eating, albeit quite small. This one went back to it’s home.
