#katknots The Clove Hitch versus the 🥨 Ground-Line Hitch. Which is your favourite? Both are great for tying fenders to guardrails, the Ground-line is a little more secure, but there's not much in it. 🔸 For both, wind the rope around the rail and cross over diagonally. There is a slight difference where you tuck the working end between the hitches. 🔸 Both knots are easy when you get the hang of them. New episode! We make it to North Cape—without sails this time! As you know, we’re on our bike, and we’ve now officially reached 71° North. While we’re here at North Cape, we run into someone who biked all the way from Cape Town to here—Cape to Cape. Super impressive! After soaking in some absolutely stunning views, we head to Tromsø, a place we last visited after our Svalbard/Spitsbergen adventure—when we sailed all the way up to 80° North. Yeah, that was pretty epic too. We take a stroll along the dock and relive memories from sailing into Tromsø back in 2022 and longing to get back on the boat again!
