Exploring the Triton Bay named by some as ‘the next frontier of diving.’ Leaving the small port of Kaimana, there is nothing but thick rainforest, gorgeous inlets, and uninhabited beaches, undisturbed by human activity. If you are looking for an adventure and want to explore some of the most remote and unknown areas, this is the place to go. Conservation International only surveyed triton bay in 2006, and there is only one small resort. Vaiatea liveaboard uncovers the top of what is believed one of the most diverse and pristine areas. There are sandy bottoms with huge boulders, covered in the most colorful soft corals, and are considered even better than Raja Ampat. The visibility can vary as the sites are between the islands bringing nutritious currents feeding these untouched corals. This is Wanagi She comes from the Standing Rock Soiux Nation. Cannon Ball North Dakota, She was born January 2017 and was found in a dumpster. I was at Standing Rock working as media for the Water Protectors at Standing Rock Fighting the NODAPL Endbridge Pipeline and Man Camps. I was sitting around the sacred fire offering tobacco and prayers a woman walked from out of the snow storm reached in herr jacket and handed me a 5 week old Mange covered pup she had just found in one of the camps dumpsters. Well I took one look into those eyes grabbed the pup and put her inside my coat where it was warm and dry. She lived next to my heart for the first month of her life. She has saved my life many times since and is now a Registrered Service Dog and helps me with instability and balance issues from my spinal injuries.
