Toni and I headed to “Moments in Time” to raise and furl the screecher sail but the pouring rain caused by Ernesto out in the Atlantic delayed our arrival. Since the breeze was too much to raise and furl a large sail, we decided to rig the flag halyards off the port and starboard spreaders. At least we got something checked off our “to do” list. Another good day, another Moment in Time. Subscribe and share the adventure! The team at Lyman-Morse deftly executed a construction feat recently with our large architectural canopy project currently under construction in Thomaston, Maine. The team craned the 80' x 32' composite canopy-half outside, flipped it over, and nestled it back inside so the stage of the project can begin. This half will now be receiving a Class A marine-grade coating, while the second half is constructed adjacent to this one. This is part of a major architectural feature coming to Cambridge, MA's Kendall Square this fall. The canopy will cover the entrances to the MBTA stations and serve as a major showpiece for the major redevelopment project. Turner Construction is leading the project.
