Here is an update on the sewing project 🔊 Five days in, and the cockpit enclosure is really starting to take shape! ✂️🪡 This week, we finished cutting all the fabric, sewed in (almost) all the windows, and added zippers to the bimini for a proper fit. The sprayhood is also coming together—we rigged up a rope system through the cove molding (am I even saying it right???) to help tension it. Next week: another test fitting! This time, we’ll be talking about the Lagoon 51 and its fantastic features without stepping into the interior spaces, like the salon and cabins. 🤌 First up is the easy-access transom, transforming the whole area into a real terrace on the sea. When people are on board, one of their favorite spots is as close to the ocean as possible, making this hydraulic platform the perfect place to relax by the water. 🧘‍♀️ Moving into the cockpit, we only have two steps, allowing for a seamless flow through this social and functional space. The cockpit is always the focal point of all activities on board, and beneath each seat, there’s plenty of storage space. Finally, we head up to the flybridge — the most exciting new feature on this boat! Lagoon designers focused on making this area even more social, adding a new dimension with additional spaces.
