Previously I sailed with two other people and we did watches of 3 hours which gives you 6 hours off and it was very pleasant. You get enough sleep and your shifts rotate, so no one gets stuck freezing every night. My husband and I are about to do a 4-5 day sail on our own, and I want to know, what is your favourite watch schedule for 2 people? We're planning on 4 hours on, 4 hours off, unless you convince us otherwise! Also, would you do a different style of watches for 3 people crossing the Atlantic ocean? Please comment. Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrows Regatta on Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland the lead boats were in close contact with several boats as everyone positioned for the strongest tide to push them into the main part of the lough. The J109 Going to Red was heading to the not sure if they would cross into the lead on port tack and tack the lead. They toyed with a tack to setup a leebow to take the lead, with the boat speed building quickly it was not needed as they slipped into the lead on port tack. The team at bottom up boats how you are enjoying the footage from the 2024 season, with the days getting longer it will not be long until the boat is back in the water and we can start making more memories from the 2025 racing.
