Probando calcetín artesano para gennaker Testing a handmade gennaker snuffer. Pedazo de calcetín para el gennaker artesano que me ha fabricado un seguidor del canal. Funciona a la perfección. El snuffer, que es como se conoce en inglés, es una ayuda súper importante en el izado y arriado de velas portantes tales como los spinnakers o spi y los gennakers, ya que las desventa. se tira de un cabo tira-vira y el calcetín baja introduciendo la vela dentro de sí mismo. Al suceder esto, la vela pierde toda la potencia y se iza o arría sin dificultad. Day 1 of the TP52 Gold Cup 2023 saw eight boats racing offshore on the Manly Circle in a shifty 8-11 knot easterly breeze. The racing was tight and demonstrated that TP52s of all eras can enjoy close boat-on-boat competition.
