We're super excited to be a part of the @seakeepers research project mapping the ocean floor. We met the International Seakeepers Society at the Auckland Boat Show 2024 and when we heard about their various projects we asked if we could apply to join their research program of mapping the seafloor (which we did) and within a few days they sent us the logger and some other cool stuff free of charge. Many new sailing cruisers make a huge mess out of mooring balls. The reason?!?! Many sailing schools don’t teach them! The best advice I can give you is to go out with an experienced sailing cruiser and practice tying onto them for a few hours. With just a bit of practice you’ll see how easy they are and will avoid the embarrassment that novice sailors feel.
