This has to be one of the quirkiest sailing catamaran designs out there. The Island Hopper 37 was developed by Uwe Jasperson (JAZ Marine) who was involved in the early Gunboats. ▫️ This coastal cruiser is 37' high performance cruising cat with a forward cockpit. The boat a real "Jetsons" feel to it : a great boat for fast cruising and weekend trips. ▫️ It's a pretty unique design, from the forward cockpit (very unusual in this size of yacht) to the light displacement and galley-down design, this boat focuses on performance, a boat to sail. I believe they only made a couple of them, so ultimately this was too niche for the market back then. ▫️ What are your thoughts? La Gran Ruta del Íbero empezó el 17 de noviembre del 2012 partiendo desde el puerto base, el Port del Masnou. Hicimos escala en San Antoni (Ibiza), Benalmádena (Málaga), Lanzarote (Islas Canarias), Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y atravesamos en diciembre el Atlántico beneficiándonos de los alisios para llegar a Martinica (Caribe francés) el 8 de enero de 2013 por la mañana, completando así la primera etapa de este viaje.
