To achieve this feat without jeopardizing safety, the MODX 70 designers decided to launch a catamaran large enough to support a very powerful battery bank while increasing the potential area of the solar panels - it stretches to 750 square feet (70 m²). The two motors are capable of a 100-mile range. The fully automated rig is perhaps the most amazing feature as the two retractable carbon masts - one on each hull - each support a 1,345 sq ft (125 m²) inflatable wing. It is this rig - in miniature version - which was presented in La Grande-Motte during the International Multihulls Show. Hull #1 is already in build, using 38% biosourced epoxy resin, 40% recycled PET foam, flax fiber and cork. I was watching one of those videos about how to be healthier, happier, more productive by a beautiful American. As so often, they were pontificating on the things that are essential parts of a daily routine. One of the most popular trends for that at the moment is how essential it is to go outside first thing in the morning and get 10 minutes of sunlight. Giorno 30 - TIRRENO Molliamo gli ormeggi dopo una pausa che ci è sembrata infinita. Evviva! Le previsioni danno un metro abbondante di onda, ma il maltempo è passato e noi siamo impazienti di riprendere il viaggio. La gioia della partenza lascia ben presto spazio a una prima esperienza per niente gradita. Il mal di mare è un ospite davvero fastidioso. Esigente e prepotente. Poco importa se hai dei lavori da svolgere o delle scadenze da rispettare. Se lui è presente pretende tutta la scena per sé. E così è stato oggi per circa 4 ore. Soltanto dopo le 19 è stato possibile mettere qualcosa sotto i denti. I piani per i prossimi giorni sono di recuperare tutte le miglia mancate in questo periodo.
