Just to prove that I'd done it, I recorded the moment I got the third sail up on my tod. As I say in the clip it may only have been 4 knots and the fenders were still out but it was quite an achievement for someone who has only been sailing for two years. The First 36 Faenol looked a picture with its big black spinnaker set beautifully as it glides by on the way to the finish line of the final race of Cork Week 2024. The crew on J109 Going To Red stopped the drop to fun and smile at the windward boat as is glided by. Cork Week 2024 created some great memories which remind us all why we enjoy this great sport which takes us to many great places to make our memories.
