In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. Timing is everything when the left hand side of the beat is favoured. Black flag was up which created a bigger sag in the centre of the line. Timing the run to the pin allowed us to force the trailing boats into a down speed tack, a loose cover to windward and off to the top mark in a tight race. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short clips from the 2025 racing season.
