Toni and I had the opportunity to check out the first Seawind 1370 in the United States. We did not think twice and headed up to Sail Away Catamarans to enjoy a demonstration sail on Damsel Fly. The 1370 is only 4 feet longer than the 1260, but it is a very different boat. There were things we liked and things we did not, so like every other boat known to mankind, it comes down to compromises. Like all Seawinds, she sailed very nicely in the low winds.
Some days are loud… but this one wasn’t. This one was perfect. A slow start on the boat, followed by joining the Buren Bay community to clean the beach, a healthy lunch at Yadon Care at the tip of Uken Inlet, and a gentle sunset that seemed to say, “Well done today.” It reminds me that the smallest moments, solo silence, shared work, healthy food, quiet sunset, end up feeling like the big ones. These are the days that remind me to enjoy the moments and why it’s never too late to live with purpose, joy, and a bit of salt on your skin. #Longevity #BlueZoneJapan #BurenBay #OkinawaLife #HealthyAging #SlowLivingJapan #NeverTooLate #LiveLongLiveWell #BoatLifeJapan #CommunityMatters #BeachCleanup #IslandLifeJapan #Japan #boatlife #yadoncafe
