Why sail alone around the world. Why choose something so hard. Why put myself through storms, sleep deprivation, fear, and months alone at sea. And honestly? Because I can. What I thought I’d be doing in the Caribbean: 🌴 swimming 🥾 hiking ☀️ relaxing What I actually did: Going to Island Water World every single day 😅 Because after an ocean crossing, the boat always has… opinions. Something breaks. Something needs replacing. Something suddenly becomes “urgent”. Luckily, IWW was ridiculously convenient and basically right next to me. At this point I think they know me better than some of my relatives. Honestly though, having them all over the Caribbean makes life a LOT easier out here.
