After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour! I know how seriously the people of Trinidad and Tobago take their cooking so wanted to make sure I could do a decent effort before I shared how it went! One of the first recipes I tackled was Geera Beef - I've loved the flavour of the Geera Pork I'd tried and wanted to see how it went with fresh beef instead. ______________________________________________ https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ☝Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use 📷 After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #sailing #catamaran #travelvlog #digitalnomad #LifeStyle #travel #trinidad

WhitsundayEscape.com Do your kids seem to spend more time on their phones than communicating with you these days? Follow in the footsteps of the Samson family, who decided to whisk their two teenagers away for a sailing holiday in the Whitsundays for a bit of digital detoxing. They hired a Venturer 38 power cat and cruised around the islands, going wherever they wanted to go, which the kids loved. They went snorkelling lots, went kayaking and paddle boarding, did lots of walks around the islands, and even played cards and other games, like they hadn't done as a family in years. Don't take our word for it, hear it straight from their mouths about what a great holiday they had. And do they recommend it to other families? Even the kids gave a resounding 'YES!'
