Since SPIRIT was delivered in May 2011, the 54-metre Amels yacht has already clocked up an impressive mileage. The owner has been sailing extensively, sometimes spending months at a time on board SPIRIT as she traverses the world. SPIRIT was always destined for an adventurous life. in just her first year, the yacht had already explored the Caribbean, Columbia, Venezuela. After traversing the Panama Canal, SPIRIT’s next big adventure was an expedition to the wilds of Alaska. Arrived in Bangkok, checked into a hotel near Khao San Road. Survived around 30min at Khao San - nothing like the charming and colorful night markets at Chiang Mai. Everyone hated it - even the teens! Left the hotel the next day and found a much nicer and more authentic area of Bangkok to stay in and explore.
