Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it! The Kerr 32 HighJacker lead the way in the first race of the annual strangford lough narrows series. The sun was peaking through the clouds just after the start on the first run before the rain and wind built with puffs over 30 knots. The Kerr 32 slipped away for the the J109 GTR on the way to the bottom mark before stretching their lead on the first beat. As the rain and wind kicking in the during the second half of the race the J109 powered on to victory both over the line and on corrected time.
