Don’t let their cute eyes fool you! The peacock mantis #shrimp has one of the most powerful punches in the animal kingdom. Its club-like appendages can strike with the speed of a bullet, reaching up to 23 metres per second (about 50 miles per hour). This punch is so forceful that it can break through the shells of #crabs, #clams, and even aquarium glass. The Mumby 48 is setup in the upright position for our build method. It is much more cost/time effective for us than building the hulls upside down and then having to turn the whole hull with a crane.
