Rose is learning to help out around the yacht, one job at a time! She started hovering at the top of the ladder whenever I was trying to get out so I've started passing her gear from the water so she can carefully grab it and set it down on the transom. She's still figuring it out (some bites are better than others ?), but the goal is to have her drop everything on the deck or in a bucket, maybe even working up to doing it on the tender too! Using a Marina car to go to the store. Basically, larger marinas. Have a courtesy car. Anyone can check out whenever they stay overnight. You take it to go to the store and get provisions. You go and get a dock overnight once every couple of weeks to fill up your water dump whatever watse to have, And that gets done by borrowing a car. Lots of folks never even talk about this. They never bring it up. They act like you have to have a bicycle on your boat to go to the store where you have to uber. Not the case. These marinas want your business. And they were designed by the government to make this waterway flow correctly with everyone being able to get rid of their waste and get provision safely.
