Snart har en vecka passerat ensamma ute till havs. Vad gör vi om dagarna egentligen förutom att segla, laga mat, äta mat, diska och sova? Jo vi övar på citat, berättar roliga historier och ser hur långt Erik kan räkna på 1 timme. Kommentera gärna om du vet varifrån Nils citat kommer, svaret på Oscars gåta eller hur långt du tror Erik kan räkna på en timme? Solen skiner ☀️ och vi har vind så vi seglar fram i 6knop⛵️. Vi har passerat ABC öarna (Aruba, Bonaire och Curacao) 🏖 och befinner oss nu strax norr om gränsen mellan Venezuela och Colombia. Det går bra nu och vi är snart halvvägs till Panama. Vi ska nog fira med lite glass i eftermiddag. 🍨🍦

The modern Catamarans are made for comfort and not so much for sailing, that means they project a very large beam surface and the anchor cannot be effective with more than 15 kts of Crossing wind. To make the anchor effective you must upgrade to maybe 50 kg witch is unrealistic for this kind of boats, so make sure you protect your leeward quarter with a round fender or even better a permanent fender that can protect from any kind of accidental touch to the dock during your backing as well.
