So grateful for this life! Whales, dolphins, fresh fish and amazing sunsets every day! 9 years ago every single person around me said I was crazy sailing 2000nm from the Netherlands to Ibiza in winter on a 28ft boat with no experience. Experienced sailors said I wouldn’t even make it to Belgium (our neighbor country) And look at my life now. Still no money on my account (16 dollars now to be honest) but I wouldn’t want to chance my life for anything. I’ve got the most beautiful house to travel the world with, meeting amazing people daily and have adventures and experiences that no money can’t buy. Big shout out to all my sponsors that make it possible to pay for my boat maintenance so I can safely cross oceans and replace materials and products that the salt water and sun love to destroy. I think and appreciate you every day looking at my beautiful sails. Flying My Dog for the First Time 🐾 | Preparing for Airplane Camping Adventures In this video, I take my dog flying in my airplane for the very first time to prepare him for airplane camping this summer. As a pilot and professional skydiver, I want to make sure my dog is completely comfortable with every part of the flying experience before we head out on longer aviation adventures together. We go step-by-step through the process of introducing him to general aviation: Sitting in the cockpit with the engine off Starting the engine and getting used to the noise Taxiing around the airport And finally, a short flight around the pattern He crushed the ground portion like a pro, but once we took off, he definitely got more nervous in the air. I kept the flight short and smooth so we could build up his confidence gradually.
