In 1996, an incredible incident unfolded at a zoo when a female gorilla named Binti Jua demonstrated remarkable bravery and compassion. A 3-year-old boy accidentally fell into her encampment, putting him in danger. Without hesitation, Binti Jua carefully picked up the child and carried him to the entrance of her enclosure. Growling at any approaching gorilla, she shielded the young boy from harm until help arrived. This heartwarming act of heroism showcased the deep emotional connection that can exist between humans and wildlife, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it. Every activity is quickly succeeded by another activity, which can be snorkelling, diving, hikes, beach walks... Anything, really. Seeing five Manta rays all together while snorkelling was definitely one of the highlights of the week, yet it is so hard to pinpoint exactly one favorite moment.
