Jack Roy joined the board of Irish Sailing in 2013 and was President from 2017 to 2020. During this time he led with great talent and dedication, and always with a sense of fun and humour. The extent of his influence and popularity is shown in the tributes received by Irish Sailing from people around the world who worked with him during his presidency. Jack finished his presidency during COVID lockdown when face to face celebrations were restricted, so we marked the occasion by publishing his last speech and a slideshow of his time as Irish Sailing President. Register today at www.thejingle5k.org Early packet pick-up begins Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15 at Fit2Run in Downtown Sarasota on Main Street. Beginning Sunday December 16 through Thursday December 20 packet pickup is at the Fit2Run at Mall at UTC during store hours. You can pick up the packets on race day on Lakewood Ranch Main Street beginning at 4:00 pm.
