A tandem charter is two yachts on the same itinerary with separate crews: you anchor in the same bays, snorkel together, meet up at the beach bars and eat ashore together, and the days are coordinated so it still feels like one trip. What makes it work is the pairing. Same or similar size and layout, so nobody feels they drew the short straw, and crews who are used to working together rather than competing.
