Nautitech in comparison to the two major players in production catamarans are famed for their performance and are often the sailors choice in catamaran terms uncompromising in their pursuit of a preferred balance between comfort and performance. This one is a rather special example taken away from the factory at an early stage by its wealthy discerning owner keen to adopt a greener approach to sailing. THE Benchmark design freefall lifeboat, the FF1200, received the Norwegian Design Council "Award For Design Excellence" in 2010. Toni and I planned the day with family at Solomons. Keeping a boat in Solomons does have it perks. We did some boat chores, swam in the pool, had some drinks at the bar and told tall stories, cooked burgers and dogs, and then enjoyed fireworks from the forward lounge of Moments in Time.
