While looking for a cell phone signal in my tender outside of Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, this whale surfaced just off my stern. A nine foot boat feels rather small in comparison. I just sat and watched for quite some time until it was out of sight.

Demon alludes to mighty supernatural creatures, with mystic powers. But at the same time it speaks to our inner self and the hurdles we have to overcome to become who we want to be. And the 1414 Demon is what every boat wants to be: Designed by KISKA the Frauscher 1414 Demon features typical Frauscher design elements like the flat bow with vertical stem, a tinted and frameless windscreen and a low profile reminiscent of a sports car. Length: 13,90 m Breadth:3,80 m Dry weight: from 10.000 kg Draft: 1,2 / 0,8 m Tank capacity: 1.200 l Persons: 10 (four-berth) Engines: 2x 400 - 2x 520 HP Design: Thomas Gerzer, KISKA Construction: Harry Miesbauer Development: Thomas Gerzer
