Situated on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island, and adjacent to the Broughton Archipelago in Port McNeill, @northislandmarina caters to yachts up to 285’. The marina also reflects the convenience of the community as a must-stop for mariners with its in-berth fueling system for its guests. No more pulling into a marina and jockeying for position on the fuel dock before settling after a long day cruising. Just pull into berth with the helpful staff to catch your lines, schedule your fueling for the next day and head right into happy hour. The marina also has its own chandlery and laundromat located right at the head of the dock. Designed with service in mind, North Island Marina and Port McNeill are one of the most convenient stops along the inside passage and “the Gateway to the Broughton Archipelago.”

We replaced our mainsail sheet, Lilly went for another horse riding lesson, we played in the sun at the beach nearby, and neighbour Pat of@AdventuresofTheGreatBanana paid us a visit too!

Like what you see? Watch the FULL VIDEO on our channel 😀 After being in storage for months on end we were finally able to launch our catamaran tender thanks to some help from a kind Trinidadian local. We've experienced many instances of the Trinidadian generosity of spirit while here, and hope to showcase that during our time in Trinidad, as well as pay the kindness back and forward. While our initial plan was to go DDI, or Down De Islands, we ended up hopping up the Trinidad coastline ending up in Scotland Bay. Scotland Bay is generally only accessible by water and is hugely popular for Trinidadians looking to swim, lime and hang out with friends by the water.
