The Greyhound is a typical Dykstra Naval Architects design, based on Gerry Dykstra's private Bestevaer. The aluminium hull will be build at KM Yachtbuilders over the next few months. It's being build for a Dutch family who has lots of sailing experience. In this video they are welding in the build number (098) themselves. A visible and lasting memory. You've seen this clip many times on nature programmes I guess but here is evidence that sailors are frequently accompanied by sea life. Shortly before this clip one of these pilot whales was jumping clean out of the water vertically. An impressive sight since pilot whales are considerably bigger than dolphins.
