We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). As we are leaving on a jet plane bound for Thailand to start 2025’s adventures it seems a good time to look back at all that we did in 2024. Sometimes it’s only when you look back that you truly see all that you’ve done. 2024 for us has been another year of incredible adventures; from sailing ⛵️our home from Gibraltar back to the U.K. against the prevailing trade winds, to buying a barge and navigating miles of the inland waterways to move our new home to the Midlands, and all that came between. 2025 has so much in store for us already. New adventures, by land, by water and air await!
