We finally get hold and jump in our tender Rocco while the other single hands SV Panda, our 1980 Amel Sharki ketch rigged sailing machine. We purposefully reefed down quite a bit just to keep boat speeds down in the 18kts of wind. I will pick up my new passport this afternoon and then we'll be on the road to Washington to have a look at the boat I want to buy. It is a really cool story...I can't wait to tell it. Also a little reinforcement of what this channel will be about. Wild food, fly fishing, traditional bowhunting, foraging, and campfires in the backcountry...but home will be a sailboat!
