Today I sailed home my new to me 1972 Bristol Carvel 22. I purchased for a great deal on eBay, if I told you how much you wouldn’t believe me so don’t even ask . Let’s just stay. It was an awesome deal. So I purchased her without ever looking at the cabin. I saw her from the shoreline, and I fell in love with this vintage sailboat. Now it’s time to start the motor for the very first time and head down the channel in East Greenwich Bay. Then it’s off to Narraganset Bay towards her new slip. Patricia and I decided to buy a sailboat while on vacation in French Polynesia. When we returned we ordered a new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 that we got last April. This channel is about the outfitting and upgrades we are doing to the boat plus some Texas Coast adventures while we learn to handle her.
