Mustamaija is sailing through the Mediterranean on her way to Gibraltar to begin a major season of ocean passages. She is a 19-metre steel staysail schooner, purpose-built for long-distance and high-latitude sailing, with a robust hull, long keel, and systems suited to extended offshore expeditions.
