In this video we’re sailing upwind in 30+ knots of breeze in Johnstone Strait during the VanIsle360 race with a double-reefed main sail and #3 jib. Lots of sails were destroyed in that leg, including the #3 jib we’re flying in the video. Sveglia alle 7. In porto alle 8:30. Ormeggio con vento di prua, quindi facile e veloce. La giornata trascorre così, io e Andre al pc, i ragazzi a esplorare l’isola. Oggi è il loro ultimo giorno e vogliono vedere quante più palme possibili prima di tornare a casa. La vita in porto è sempre comoda, è una bella interruzione pubblicitaria dalla quotidianità galleggiante. Staremo in porto ancora domani, poi riprenderemo il largo verso nord.
