Giorno 193 - verso santo Domingo La mattina passa veloce tra ponti che si aprono, dogane che si svolgono e ormeggi che si mollano. Julia è pronta e noi con lei. Prua su santo Domingo. Ci rimettiamo in oceano dopo giorni di meteo instabile. Sfruttiamo una finestra che sembra una buona occasione per raggiungere la nostra destinazione. Siccome siamo in due, cerchiamo di portarci avanti preparando in anticipo ciò che mangeremo nei prossimi giorni. Il pilota ci ricorda che vuole le sue attenzioni. Per fortuna questa volta è una vite della morsettiera dei fili ad essere lenta: una stretta di cacciavite ed è tutto a posto. Bene così! La notte arriva veloce.
