Ein guter Platz um bei auflaufenden Wasser wenn man aus Richtung Cuxhaven kommt bei westlichen Winden und in Abbenfleht oder auch Stadersand noch auf die Flut warten muss. Ankergrund ist weicher Schlick. Hält sehr gut den Anker und die Strömung macht das Eindampfen überflüssig. Beim Anker aufholen, einhand treibt man in tieferes Wasser und kann dann in Ruhe danach seinen Kurs aufnehmen.
