Installing a new floor in an Edencraft is far from a simple task. This 565 build has reached the Joining Shed stage. After completing the stringers, full tank installation, foaming, leveling, and glassing, the floor is finally ready for a dry fit. Once the dry fitting is complete, both surfaces will be prepped. The base of the floor will be resin-coated, and the hull will be layered with chopped fiberglass and resin. With precision, the floor is then carefully placed in position and weighted down to create a strong chemical bond between the two surfaces. From this point, any gap between the floor liner and the hull will be filled with foam, sanded to perfection, and sealed with a layer of fibreglass. we sailed with over 20 knots into a huge wave and even if were flying our smallest and strongest kite, blew up. We are currently saving our two larger but thinner kites not to loose one more similarly as the sea state continues to be rough and we will need them in the long race. We are currently VMG running with our fractional zero that might not be optimal and result temporarily in reduced boat speed. This is normal in a race like this, and our fighting spirit has just gone up. We're looking forward to reaching half way!"
