Manta Point in central Komodo is a drift dive with a flat rubble bottom and usually great Manta sightings…..sometimes upto 50 on one dive !! The Manta come here to feed, clean and mate mostly from September through to April but sometimes year round. We often also see Marble Rays, Turtles, Reef Sharks and Blue Spotted Stingrays here as we drift along in the current.

What a fantastic day at our Traditional Boatbuilding Skills Experience Day! It was a pleasure to welcome a small group of enthusiastic participants who spent the day learning the traditional woodworking techniques used to build and restore wooden boats. From developing practical hand skills to gaining a deeper appreciation of our maritime heritage, everyone had the opportunity to experience the craftsmanship that keeps these historic vessels alive. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success.
