Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. In this start of the YRA Jr. Waterhouse offshore race we just barely squeezed ourselves into the start line at the boat end! It looks like Ventana was pinching just a bit, so I don't think we fully barged, but I also think they could have put us in a bad spot if they wanted to. Thankfully the Owner of Ventana is really nice! It's always good to race against friends 😅.
