We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). The Crew of GTR along with the help of the expert crane driver from Beaties Crain's Belfast make stepping the mask and lifting the boat in look easy. One strap just above the balance point of the mast hooked onto the lift clip and the mast is stepped before you know it. It is then up and away before sailing away. The team at bottom up boats can not wait to bring you all the on the water action from the 2024 season.
