The aim is full autonomy and zero carbon emission in operation. ▫️ This company is searching for the sweet spot between a sailing and a motor yacht. This 70' yacht will have 12,000W of solar, hydrogenation and a 230 kWh battery capacity. ▫️ Naval architects : VPLP Design Interior design: Océan Développement / Pierre Frutschi Design Capacity: 8/10 passengers + 2/3 crew members Speed target: 16kts in 15kts TWS ▫️ An interesting innovation is the Aeroforce© Wing sail: Inflatable, automated & retractable 2 x 125 m² wings give a +35% power gain compared to traditional sails. Have you ever seen the Harlequin Shrimp? These shrimps only grow about 5 cm long. But don't let the size fool you, they are capable of hunting preys much bigger than them. Their favourite food are the tube feet and other soft tissues of sea stars. As you can see in this video, the struggle of both the shrimps and the sea star, an amazing encounter during our season in Thailand last year.
