One of the design emphasis points was to increase visual contact with the sea and this was achieved partially with opening balconies, and larger windows in all areas. All five owner & guest staterooms are spacious and have exceptional window views with the owner's suite ondeck. The décor is contemporary and elegant featuring extensive upgrades from the standard spec encompassing the rich Italian style this builder is known for. The interior finish is a tasteful pickled Oak wood in combination with bleached Oak, teak flooring and tailored leather. Teak exterior decks are on all levels and the upper sundeck is a part of the newer design featuring extensive sunpads as well as a circular spa. This vessel was custom ordered with focus towards entertaining and the dining areas all have beautiful settings, blending the interior with the open air. The transom features a hydraulic opening teak decked garage / water access deck (teak beach) with inflatable jet tender, dive compressor and many other extras. This vessel was built for the Americas and has a 60-cycle electrical system, but is equipped with a substantial frequency conversion system to allow seamless transition to European cruising. Ragazzi, che giornata! O forse dovrei dire giornate! Sono successe talmente tante cose oggi che il reel è per forza dovuto durare di più. Ci siamo svegliati presto, siamo scesi a terra con il gommone e come prima cosa abbiamo fatto il check out per la partenza di domani. Domattina, insomma, dobbiamo lasciare le acque delle BVI per andare st Marteen. Fatto ciò chiediamo a un taxista quanto ci prendesse per portarci a un’escursione a 10 minuti di auto da lì. Il prezzo era lo stesso di un noleggio auto di un giorno. Beh, la scelta viene da sè. Noleggiamo un’auto e andiamo a fare un po’ di escursioni. Saliamo nelle parti più montane, se così possiamo definirle. Cerchiamo di cogliere anche l’aspetto più verde e meno blu di quest’isola. Il nostro cuore resta Comunque sempre colpito e affascinato dal mare anche visto dall’alto. Ci troviamo, non saprei spiegare come, a Sugarcane, un bellissimo ristorante che ha imbandito un buffet all you can eat per la giornata. Assaggiamo specialità locali con il sottofondo di buona musica e un ambiente davvero splendido. Un pranzo con i fiocchi. Pieni di cibo, ci alziamo da tavola, riprendiamo la macchina e facciamo l’ultimo sentiero della giornata, quello che porta a Devil’s bay, Un percorso bellissimo, paesaggio più desertico pieno di cactus, lucertoloni e paguri enormi. Ci fermiamo qualche minuto in spiaggia, ci rinfreschiamo e poi di corsa in barca a fare la doccia. Lasciamo la macchina a noleggio e corriamo a prepararci. Questa sera USCIAMO! Che cosa strana: un orario di incontro, altre persone che parlano italiano!!! Andiamo a bordo di “Andiamo”, la barca su cui vivono e lavorano Francesca e Matteo. Non ci conoscevamo, ci siamo scambiati messaggi qui su Instagram e questa sera siamo riusciti a incontrarci. Sempre bello conoscere storie nuove, sapere come altre due persone sono arrivate a passare la maggior parte del loro tempo su una casa galleggiante. Parliamo tanto, ci scambiamo le nostre esperienze in mare e non solo, promettendoci di reincontrarci da qualche parte.
