When the kite goes up and does not come down the only thing you can do is go up and get it. It looks like the bowman draw the short straw which resulted in a quick trip up the mast to try and get the halyard to come down.

The sun sets, and with it, the familiar world fades into darkness. Doubt can slip in with the dark, a quiet voice whispering, "You're alone out here." But a true sailor knows this isn't the time for fear. This is the moment for courage. They don't fear the deep night; they welcome it. For centuries, our ancestors looked not to the shore but to the skies. They did not see a blank darkness, but a map of shining stars. They found their way by the unblinking eye of Polaris and the steady path of Orion. The stars remind us that the greatest journeys aren't measured by distance, but by the spirit that carries you through the unknown. So, as the last light fades, lift your eyes. Find your direction in the constellations. When you navigate by the stars, you must not fear the dark—you must see it as your guide. In the deepest night our adventurous spirit shines the brightest.

The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) can grow up to 3 meters (10 feet) long and weigh over 70 kg (150 lbs)! Here are some facts about Komodo Dragons: Venomous Bite Once thought to kill with bacteria, scientists now know that Komodo dragons have venom glands that prevent blood clotting, helping them take down large prey. Excellent Hunters They can run up to 20 km/h (12 mph) in short bursts and have a keen sense of smell—using their long, forked tongue to “taste” the air. Cannibalistic Tendencies Komodo dragons sometimes eat their own young! To survive, baby dragons often hide in trees for their first few years. Ancient Survivors These creatures have been around for millions of years and are considered living fossils. Learn more, get involved, and help protect their habitat today #komododragons #lizards
